We will be holding training sessions for our Spring/Summer Sessions at the West Side Irish American Club for all ages. Before Memorial day we will be training on Fridays. After Memorial day, we will train on Thursdays before the adult teams. See the dates and times below:

Fridays 6.30pm – 7.30pm (All Ages)

May 6th, May 13th, May 20th

Thursdays 5pm – 6pm (All Ages)

June 9th, June 16th, June 23rd, June 30th, July 7th, July 14th, July 21st

The sessions will cost $25 and players will receive an authentic Cleveland GAA t-shirt.

Age Groups for Teams:

The GAA has changed to align age groups on odd years (U7 non competitive, U9 Coed, U11 Coed, U13 Boys, U13 Girls, U15 Boys, U15 Girls, U18 Girls, U18 Boys).

Continental Youth Championships

July 28, 29, 30, 31 – Registration Deadline is May 30th

The National Tournament runs from Thursday through Sunday. We will be arranging hotels in early June. This is a great, long weekend filled with Gaelic sports (football & hurling), hotels with pools, and friends. Our children do not get many opportunities to play other teams so this is a great experience and relatively close by.

U7’s do not play competitively, but are organized by the USGAA (US Gaelic Athletic Association) when they arrive. The competitive groups are U9, U11, U13 Boys, U13 Girls, U15 Boys, U15 Girls, U18 Boys, U18 Girls.

If we do not have enough players in an age group we may have them play up one level, or will work to amalgamate with our other Midwest Division teams – Detroit, Buffalo, Pittsburgh. So, if you are interested, Sign – up.

Midwest Finals

August 6th and 7th in Rochester, NY. It is not known if the Midwest will host youth games as of yet.
